International Doctorate Program Philology: Practices of pre-modern cultures, global perspectives and future concepts (Elite Network of Bavaria)
The International Doctorate Program (IDK) Philology. Practices of pre-modern cultures, global perspectives and future concepts, funded by the Elite Network Bavaria, is a collaboration between the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (speaker university), the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg and the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. A total of eight different faculties from all three universities are involved in the IDK, as well as the IT group of the Humanities and Cultural Studies. A list of the participating subjects and fields can be found under Participating Disciplines.
